Scenes from Western Canada is one of the most anticipated and participated-in exhibitions the Federation of Canadian Artists hosts. Don’t miss your opportunity to submitto it by the August 31st deadline.

In previous years this exhibition has become a visual ode to the landscape of Canada. Breathless valleys, sunny beaches, shady forests, dewy rainforests, intense desert, luscious waterfalls, dominating mountains, extensive vistas, it is without a doubt that we are spoilt for choice from the natural landscape in Western Canada.

This year, we’re encouraging artists to embrace nature’s bounty and beyond as they explore scenes from Western Canada in these, and more personal ways. For example, a scene from Western Canada could also explore the backdrop of home, something that happened downtown, uptown, out in the countryside, in the hubbub of the city, the quiet of your garden, the chaos of your workplace.
